No. 19 Women's Squash Opens CSA Nationals with 9-0 Sweep of Conn. College
Colonials Top Camels For Second Time This Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 17 George Washington women's squash team opened play in the Walker Cup (C-Division) of the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Nationals on Friday afternoon, topping No. 22 Connecticut College, 9-0, at Harvard University.
GW (11-9) dominated Connecticut College (8-19) from the outset and won all matches in straight sets. As a team the Colonials yielded just 4.9 points per match.
Senior Tiffany Hingley and sophomore Maya Nair each were impressive at the No. 6 and No. 7 positions, respectively. Hingley allowed just seven points during an 11-1, 11-1, 11-5 sweep of Naomi Mayeux and Nair blanked Sara Krivishik in the opening game before cruising to an 11-0, 11-3, 11-4 win.
The Colonials will face the winner of the match between No. 18 Amherst and No. 23 Tufts on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Colonials topped Tufts, 9-0, on Jan. 27 at the Maine Round Robin.
