WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington University women's squash team suffered a loss in their 2006-07 season opening match at Virginia over the weekend. The Colonials managed just two points as they fell to the Cavaliers, 7-2.

The GW wins came from senior captain Christina Lazar and sophomore Sybil Bunn, who downed Caitlin Clark 3-2 (1-9, 5-9, 6, 1, 2) and Nancy Chen 3-0 (3, 0, 6), respectively.

The Colonial women's squash team will continue play this Saturday, November 11, when they travel to Haverford, PA, to take on both Franklin & Marshall at 1:00 p.m. and host-school Haverford at 3:00 p.m.
