WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington Women's Squash team opened up the 2009-10 season with an 8-1 victory over Virginia, held at the Health and Wellness Center Sunday afternoon.

The Colonials produced six sweeps and only dropped one match in their season-opening victory. George Washington also opened the 2008-09 season with a 7-2 victory over the Cavaliers.

George Washington will return to action on Wednesday, November 25th when they take on Dartmouth on the campus of the Naval Academy. Match time is still to be announced.
