No. 12 Women's Squash Downs Connecticut College, 9-0

HARTFORD, Conn. - The No. 12-ranked George Washington women's squash team opened its weekend with a 9-0 sweep of Connecticut College on Friday night in Hartford. GW (3-1) was dominant on Friday, winning each match in straight sets for the second time this season. Freshman Anna Gabriela Porras continued her strong rookie campaign, yielding just three points during an 11-2, 11-0, 11-1 victory over Caroline Sarget at the No. 1 position. Sophomore Adriana Calderon did not let her opponent score until the third set of a 11-0, 11-0, 11-1 sweep at No. 9. As a team, the Colonials surrendered an average of 3.7 points per set across the nine matches.
