WASHINGTON - The No. 12-ranked George Washington women's squash team travels north to Massachusetts this weekend for a trio of matches against ranked opponents.

GW will visit No. 21 Mount Holyoke on Friday at 7 p.m. before heading to Amherst to face No. 10 Bates on Saturday at 1 p.m. and No. 18 Amherst on Sunday at 9 a.m.

The Colonials are coming off of a 6-3 loss at No. 9 Brown on Sunday. Sophomores Anna Gabriela Porras and Alejandra Porras, along with freshman Breanne Flynn, each posted wins at the top three positions of the ladder.

GW Women's Squash Upsets #12 Bates, Falls to #5 Penn
WASHINGTON - The No. 16 nationally ranked George Washington women's squash team split a pair of matches on Saturday at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center, upsetting No. 12 Bates, 5-4, before falling to No. 5 Penn, 9-0.

No. 13 Women's Squash Tops No. 16 Amherst, 7-2
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 13 George Washington women's squash team continued play at the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships on Saturday, defeating No. 16 Amherst, 7-2, in the Kurtz Cup (B-Division) Consolation Semifinals at Yale's Brady Squash Center.

Anna Gabriela Porras leads the Colonials with a 4-1 individual record at No. 1 on the ladder. Flynn is second on the team with a 3-2 record at No. 2 while Alejandra Porras has two wins at No. 3.
