No. 14 Women's Squash Aims for Success in Connecticut

Jan. 24, 2018

SERVING FIRST: The George Washington women's squash team will face a pair of opponents ranked in the top-eight of the College Squash Association (CSA) when it wraps up their month-long road swing in Connecticut this weekend. The Colonials will first take on No. 6 Yale on Saturday at 1 p.m. before facing No. 7 Columbia on Sunday at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT: After opening their spring slate undefeated, the Colonials saw their three-match win streak snapped in Massachusetts, falling to No. 8 Cornell on Friday evening (7-2) and then to No. 14 Williams (7-2) on Saturday afternoon. Despite the pair of losses, senior co-captain Abby Shonrock and freshman Zoe Foo Yu Han completed a perfect weekend. The duo now shares the team lead with eight victories a piece on the season.
