WASHINGTON - The No. 11 George Washington women's squash team will conclude its regular season with a trio of matches this weekend.

GW (8-5) will visit No. 18 Franklin & Marshall on Friday at 5:00 p.m. before Saturday's Homecoming doubleheader against Virginia (11:00 a.m.) and Bucknell (5:00 p.m.) at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center.

The Colonials have won seven of their last eight matches entering this weekend's finale and are 1-1 at home this season with a season-opening victory over Georgetown on November 8.

No. 19 Women's Squash Opens Final Weekend With 9-0 Sweep of Virginia
WASHINGTON - The No. 19 George Washington women's squash team opened its regular-season ending homestand with a 9-0 victory over visiting Virginia on Friday afternoon at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center.

Sophomore Anna Gabriela Porras leads the team with a 10-2 record at the No. 1 spot on the ladder while freshman Breanne Flynn is second on the team with a 10-3 individual record.

Prior to Saturday's afternoon match against Bucknell, the Colonials will honor seniors Kelly Barnes, Adriana Calderon, Jackie Shea, Elizabeth Tapley, Maya Nair, Becca Imrich and Catherine Ehrlich for their contributions to the program over the past four years.

The seven seniors in the Class of 2014 have helped the Colonials to 45 victories over the past four seasons, including the 2011-12 Walker Cup Championship at the College Squash Association Team Nationals and the highest-ever program national ranking of No. 11.
