No. 19 GW Women's Squash Set for CSA Team Nationals

Tournament Bracket | Live Results | Statistics CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 19 George Washington women's squash team will open play in the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Nationals in the Walker Cup against No. 22 Connecticut College on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Harvard University. GW (10-9) and Connecticut College (8-18) have met once this season, with the Colonials prevailing, 9-0, on Dec. 3 at the Trinity Round Robin. Sophomore Maya Nair leads the Colonials with 12 individual victories while sophomores Jackie Shea and Elizabeth Tapley, along with seniors Tiffany Hingley and Caroline Shumway follow with 11 wins each. Shea is the Colonials No. 1 player and has an 11-7 record at the top of the ladder this season. She enters Friday's match against Connecticut College on a five-match win streak. The Colonials have not competed since suffering a 5-4 loss at Franklin & Marshall on Feb. 10. Last season the Colonials upset No. 14 Columbia in the consolation finals of the Kurtz Cup (B-Division) to secure their highest end-of-season ranking in program history (No. 15). The CSA Team Nationals are broken up into five divisions, the Howe Cup (Nos. 1-8 in CSA Rankings), Kurtz Cup (9-16), Walker Cup (17-24) and the Epps Cup (25-32). Projected Lineup
