WASHINGTON – The George Washington squash program will send a total of five student-athletes, three men and two women, to this weekend’s College Squash Association (CSA) Individual National Championships at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, beginning on Friday.

GW's No. 11 men’s team will send freshman Jamie Oakley, junior Oisin Logan, and senior Andres de Frutos, while the No. 12 women’s team will send senior Breanne Flynn and freshman Engy El Mandouh.

National individual rankings are used to seed two brackets. On the men’s side, the top 16 individuals will compete for the Pool Trophy and players ranked No. 17-80 will compete for the Malloy Cup.

Oakley is seeded No. 16 in the Malloy Cup South Draw. He will open the weekend against Marwan Sallam of Boston University.

Logan is seeded No. 9 in the Malloy Cup West Draw while de Frutos is seeded No. 3 in the Malloy Cup North Draw. Logan will face University of Rochester’s Ben Pitfield in the first round while de Frutos will open against Samuel Epley of Dartmouth.

On the women’s side, players ranked in the top 16 will compete for the Ramsay Cup and players ranked No. 17-80 will be entered in the Holleran Cup bracket.

Flynn returns to the CSA Individual National Championships after winning the Holleran Cup (B-Division) D-draw championship in 2016. This year, Flynn, seeded seventh, will compete for the Ramsay Cup and will open the weekend against Kayley Leonard of Harvard.

El Mandouh is the No. 12 seed in the Holleran Cup North Draw. She will face Princeton’s Madison Soukup in the first round.
