No. 14 GW Women's Squash Visits Navy on Sunday

WASHINGTON - The No. 14 George Washington women's squash team travels to Annapolis, Md., this Sunday to face the United States Naval Academy.

GW (1-0) opened its 2013-14 season with a convincing 9-0 sweep of Georgetown last Friday, winning each match in straight sets and yielding an average of 2.7 points per set.

Freshmen Breanne Flynn and Mehak Chawla along with sophomores Alejandra Porras and Eunice Tan each picked up their first collegiate wins over the Hoyas.

Returnees Anna Gabriela Porras, Emely Levyn, Alexa Tzarnas, Jackie Shea and Elizabeth Tapley also notched wins in the season opener.

Next weekend the Colonials travel north for meetings with No. 11 Columbia (Sat., 5 p.m.) and No. 3 Penn (Sun., 3 p.m.)
