Colonials to Recognize 2011-12 Seniors in Home Finale

2010-11:At the Atlantic-10 Championships, competed in the preliminary heats of the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events...swam on the second-place finishing 200-yard freestyle relay at ODU...helped 400-yard freestyle relay to a second place finish at Georgetown...finished 16th in the 100-yard freestyle at the URI Invitational...landed second in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events against Howard.

2009-10:While competing at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championships, recorded lifetime-bests in the 500, 200 and 1650-yard freestyle events.

High school:Was a member of the Bahrain National swim team for seven years during her prep career...represented Bahrain in two Olympics (Athens, 2004; Beijing, 2008), four World Championships (Barcelona, 2003; Montreal, 2005; Melbourne, 2007; Rome, 2009), and the 2006 Asain Games in Doha, Qatar...member of National Honors Society...Student Council Vice President.
