2008-2009 Season: As a Freshman
At the Atlantic 10 Championships competed in the 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle, and the 1650. Was also a member of the Colonial's 800 Freestyle Relay.
High School: Six-time state qualifier ... Six-time regional champion ... Eight-time district champion ... Three-time most valuable swimmer ... All-State team and Fighting Westerner Award her senior year.
Personal: Born Sarah Ann Richards on February 12, 1990 in Lubbock, TX ... daughter of William and Susan Richards ... has two younger sisters, Emily and Madeline ... intends to major in systems engineering.
