2011-12: Swam career-best times of 24.31, 52.56 and 1:55.51 in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyles, respectively, at the Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 22)...Swam second leg of first-place finishing 400-yard freestyle relay team against Bucknell (Oct. 22)...Finished second in the 100 free against UMBC (Nov. 5).

2010-11: At the Atlantic-10 Championships, member of the 200-, 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays that set team records...Competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard freestyle events, placing 31st, 30th and 24th, respectively...A-10 performance in the 100-yard freestyle ranks seventh and time in 50-yard freestyle ranks ninth all-time on GW's top times list...Member of first-place finishing 400-yard freestyle relay against Bucknell...Swam on 200-yard medley relay that finished third against Drexel and individually finished third in the 100-yard freestyle...Member of fourth-place finishing 800-yard freestyle relay and fifth-place finishing 400-yard freestyle relay at the Patriot Invitational...Finished 3rd in the 200-yard freestyle against George Mason...Also swam on first place 200-yard freestyle relay.

High School: Helped the Monte Vista Mustangs to an East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) championship in 2009, as well as a top-three finish at the North Coast Sectionals the same season...Was an All-American consideration for the 400-yard and 200-yard freestyle relays...Also swam for the Crow Canyon Sharks club team for four years.

Personal: Born Sloan Saunders on Sept. 3, 1992, in San Ramon, CA...Daughter of Michelle and Brian Saunders...Twin sister Sydney also swims for GW women's swim team...Majoring in exercise science with aspirations to become an orthopedic doctor, with a focus on sports medicine.
