Women's Swimming Finishes Tenth at Atlantic 10 Championships

BUFFALO, NY - The George Washington women's swimming & diving team concluded their 2007-08 season with a tenth place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships at Flickinger Aquatic Center.

Juniors Ariana Berdini and Lauren Fuchs took 8th and 10th, respectively in the 200-yard breaststroke in times of 2:26.57 and 2:23.79. Berdini finished sixth in the 100-yard breaststoke Friday, while Fuchs took 13th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 15th in the 400-yard IM that same same night.
Freshman Sarah Landry also took 6th in the 3-meter dive with 392.40 points. Landry also took 6th in the 1-meter dive Thursday.
