NORFOLK, VA -- GW senior Lauren Fuchs and freshman Isabel Tawney combined for four second-place finishes to lead the GW women's swimming team in a dual meet Saturday afternoon against Old Dominion. The teams swam at Norfolk State's pool due to construction on the new recreational facility at Old Dominion.

The Old Dominion men's and women's swimming teams defeated George Washington over the weekend. The Old Dominion women's squad won all 13 events of its events en-route to a 156-102 victory over the Colonials. On the men's side, the Monarchs won, 159-109, over George Washington. The ODU men's team won 10 of the 13 events.

The Colonials' roster was hampered by a variety of injuries and illnesses and several members of the team did not make the trip to Norfolk.
