Fall 2017 CSCAA Scholar All-America List

NORFOLK, Va. - George Washington women's swimming and diving has been named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the fall semester. The Colonials, who finished last semester with a 3.38 team grade point average, were among 688 teams honored Monday for posting a 3.00 or higher cumulative GPA.

"I am proud of our women for having an excellent semester in the classroom," head coach James Winchester said. "At GW, we look to create an environment for champions in the classroom, competition and community, and our teams are proving to be leaders in all three areas."

It's the 16th consecutive semester the program has been honored by the CSCAA for its academic performance. Eleven Colonials finished the fall with a 3.5 or higher GPA, paced by perfect 4.0 scores from senior Hannah Kopydlowski and junior Miranda Simon.
