WASHINGTON, DC- Paola Leor was named the 2008-09 women's swimming Most Valuable Player at The George Washington University Athletic Department's annual Senior Honors Luncheon held on May 4.

Paola earns her second team MVP award in as many seasons after setting three different individual GW records, the 50 and 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard Individual medley, all in the first day at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship. She also swam the anchor leg in the record-breaking 200-yard medley relay at the Championship.
