Caroline Myers was a part of three event victories - two individual and one relay - as she helped GW women's swimming to a second-place finish at George Mason's Patriot Invitational this weekend. Over the three-day event Myers took home top honors in the 500-yard freestyle (4:54.81) and the 1,650 free (16:47.61), both in season-best times, and swam the lead-off leg of the 800 free relay (7:34.66). Her winning time in the 1,650 free was just 1.37 seconds shy of the Patriot Invitational meet record. The Oldsmar, Fla., native also finished sixth in the 200 back (2:04.8).
