WASHINGTON – The George Washington women’s tennis team defeated Radford, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (STLC).

The Highlanders' won the doubles point by taking two of three matches before being nearly swept in singles play by the Buff and Blue. Freshman Julia Herlogsson improved to 7-1 in singles action with a win over Tyler Blalock at the No. 4 position.

BROWNING'S BULLETS: "Today we didn't necessarily play our best but we were able to pull through when we needed to. Overall great team effort as we were able to step it up when we needed to. There are some things we need improve on for next week to get ready for two tough opponents in Richmond, our 1st conference match, and then William and Mary."
