Penn State Knocks Off Women's Tennis, 7-0

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA - The George Washington University women's tennis team fell at Penn State, 7-0, on Saturday, Feb. 25, in a non-conference match held at the Nittany Lions' Indoor Tennis Center. The Nittany Lions won five-of-six singles matches in straight sets, while also earning the doubles point as the Colonials fell to 2-2 on the season.

The singles losses for senior Anastasia Skavronskaia (Miami, FL), sophomores Kendall Swenson (Shaker Heights, OH) and Tracy Stecko (Lake Forest, IL), and freshman Madhuri Jha (Oak Brook, IL) each snapped two-match winning streaks.

The Colonials (2-2) return to action when they travel to Lynchburg, VA, on Saturday, March 4, for a non-conference match against Liberty at 1:00 p.m.
