GW Women's Tennis Falls at Richmond, 5-2
Colonials Host Morgan State on Sunday in Montclair, Va.

RICHMOND, Va. - The George Washington women's tennis team fell to Atlantic 10 rival Richmond, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon.
GW (7-5, 2-1) dropped its third straight match, falling in A-10 action for the first time this season.
Pascarella defeated Melissa Kandinata, 6-3, 6-2 in the top flight, while Carpenter won, 6-4, 7-6 (7) over Richmond's Alexandra Smyth at No. 6.
In No. 2 singles play, freshman Lana Robins fell to Elizabeth Sims, 7-5, 6-2, while freshman Stephanie Wei dropped a three-set match to Anna Abadias Morales, 5-7, 7-6 (6), 1-0 (5) at the No. 3 spot. At No. 4, senior Mimi Hamling fell to Katya Salas, 6-2, 6-4, and senior Dorota Lysienia rounded out singles action with a 6-2, 6-4 loss to Emily Gitman at No. 5.
The Colonials dropped all three doubles matches.
GW returns to the court on Sunday, hosting Morgan State at the indoor Montclair Country Club in Montclair, Va.
