WASHINGTON -- The George Washington women's tennis team picked up a big win Saturday afternoon defeating Atlantic 10 rival St. Bonaventure, 7-0, at the Mount Vernon Tennis Facility. GW only dropped the No. 1 doubles match to the Bonnies before securing the doubles point with wins from Dorota Lysienia and Meg Tyner at No. 2 doubles, and from Mimi Hamling and Hilary Kustoff at the No. 3 position. At No. 1 singles, Jacqueline Corba battled to win a tough three-set match 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 to set the tone for the Colonials as the rest of the team followed suit and defeated their SBU opponents. The rest of the Colonials defeated their opponents in straight sets, with Hamling not allowing a point to win 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2 singles. The Colonials will travel across the District to take on Howard on Sunday, March 28, at 1 p.m.
