WOODBRIDGE, VA - George Washington women's tennis defeated Fordham, 6-1, Wednesday, at the Montclair Country Club.

In doubles action, the Colonials only fell in the No. 1 flight to Fordham. No. 2 duo Meg Tyner and Jennifer Hirsh defeated their opponents 8-3 while No. 3 duo of Zoe Krohn and Madhuri Jha won 8-2.

The Colonials swept Fordham from the No. 2 flight through the No. 6 flight, out scoring their opponents 55-19.

GW next faces Towson April 3, at 2:00 p.m. in Towson, MD.
