WASHINGTON -- The George Washington women's tennis team fell for the first time at the Mount Vernon Tennis Facility this season against Temple on Saturday, 5-2.

Zoe Krohn and Mimi Hamling won at No. 1 doubles, but the Owls took the doubles point with wins at the other two positions.

In singles play the Colonials got victories from Jacqueline Corba at No 1 singles and Hamling at No. 2.

Corba won in two sets 6-2, 7-6, (7-2), over her Temple opponent while Hamling had a marathon match. Hamling took the first set 7-6, (7-6) but dropped the second set 2-6 to take it to a third set. Harding won 4-3 before her opponent defaulted.

The Colonials travels to Norfolk, VA to take on James Madison Saturday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m.
