WOODBRIDGE, VA - George Washington women's tennis was defeated by Binghamton, 5-2, Monday at the Montclair Country Club.

In doubles action, Nadia Demidenko and Jacqui Corba paired in the No. 1 flight to defeat their Binghamton opponents 8-4. GW fell in the other two doubles matches.

Demidenko also was victorious in her No. 1 singles match, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2. At the No. 2 flight, Corba defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-7 (4), 7-5.

Binghamton won the No. 3 through No. 6 singles flights in straight sets over GW.

The Colonials are back in action at George Mason on April 11 at 11:00 a.m. before getting ready for the Atlantic 10 Championships on April 17-19 in Monroeville, PA.
