WASHINGTON, D.C. - The GW women's tennis team defeated Georgetown 5-2 for the second year in a row on October 19 at the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex. They scored four points in singles competition and also secured the doubles point by winning two of the three matches.

Junior Nazli Gencsoy (Istanbul, Turkey/Lyree de Galatasaray), sophomores Natasha Bode (Paradise Valley, AZ/Xavier Prep) and Sevla Gonca (Ankara, Turkey/Bilkent) and freshman Estee Bartell (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) were all victorious in singles and doubles competition to lead the Colonials.

Next Up, the Colonials will be represented by senior Tracy Wei (Marietta, GA/Walton Comprehensive) and Gencsoy at the Omni Indoor Tournament in Cambridge, MA.
