Jacqueline Corba is Named 2008-09 Women's Tennis MVP

WASHINGTON, DC- Jacqueline Corba was named the 2008-09 women's tennis Most Valuable Player at The George Washington University's annual Senior Honors Luncheon on May 4.

A first-year player from Greenwich, CT, Jacqui made an immediate impact on the women's tennis team at the No. 2 flight singles position this season. She finished the spring season at 12-5 in singles, with a four-match winning streak from March 10-22, to earn Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors. She also went 4-3 against A-10 opponents and had only three matches go a third-set decision. Congratulations, Jacqueline Corba, MVP of women's tennis.
