WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's tennis team returns to action with four tournaments throughout the 2013 fall season. The Colonials' slate emulates last season's fall schedule, highlighted by the ITA Atlantic Regional as the final event of the season.

The Colonials then remain in the District for the Georgetown Classic Sept. 20-22 at the Hoyas' McDonough Outdoor Tennis Complex. Last year, then-junior Leah Pascarella claimed the singles title while senior Mimi Hamling and freshman Lana Robins won took home doubles crown.
GW returns to the court Oct. 11-13 at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational at the Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, Md. The three-day event consists of two flights of doubles and four flights of singles action.
The Colonials wrap the fall season at the USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional Championship Oct. 18-21 in Charlottesville, Va., at Virginia's Snyder Tennis Center. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic Region includes schools located in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. The tournament is a single-elimination format and winners of the singles and doubles flights will earn automatic bids to the ITA National Indoor Championship in November.
