Women’s Tennis Concludes Play at Seahawk National Invite

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The George Washington women’s tennis team concluded competition at the Seahawk National Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

Junior Maria Siopacha and freshman Julia Herlogsson finished up tournament play on a high note, earning a victory over Coastal Carolina University in doubles action and both picking up singles wins against Winthrop.

The Colonials end the tournament with a 6-4 doubles record and went 5-7 in singles action.

GW continues fall tournament play next weekend as the Colonials will compete at the Blue and Gold Invitational from October 6-8.
