Women's tennis freshman Lana Robins went 3-1 at the USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional this weekend. Robins opened Friday with back-to-back singles qualifying victories to earn a spot in the main draw, defeating UMBC's Isabel Aldunate, 5-7, 6-3, 6-1, and Sydney Smith of William & Mary, 6-3, 6-0. The Bellevue, Wash., native then earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over Virginia Tech’s Tea Ivanovic on Saturday to advance to Round 2, where she eventually fell to the tournament's No. 1 seed and nationally ranked No. 52 Petra Januskova of Penn State, 6-1, 6-2.
