Erin Moore is in her fifth season as an assistant coach for GW Volleyball.

In 2014, Moore helped GW to its most successful season since 2000 as the Colonials finished with a 22-8 overall record, an 11-3 mark in Atlantic 10 matches and the team's first appearance in the A-10 Championship match since 2002.

Primarily responsible for the coaching of GW's middle blockers, Moore helped then-sophomore Chidima Osuchukwu earn an Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference selection after leading the Atlantic 10 in both blocks per set (1.47, 8th in NCAA) and total blocks (162, 15th in NCAA). As a team, the Colonials paced the Atlantic 10 in blocks per set (2.75, 21st in NCAA) and ranked second in total blocks (303, 22nd in NCAA).

She came to GW after serving as Director of Operations for the University of Michigan volleyball program from 2006-10. She also spent parts of eight seasons playing professionally in Spain and Puerto Rico.

Moore concluded a standout playing career at the University of Michigan by being named an All-American in 2003, the first player in the 31-year history of the Michigan volleyball program to earn the honor. She was a two-time captain with the Wolverines, earning All-Big Ten first team honors in 2002 and 2003, while picking up honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2001.

Moore holds the Michigan single-season record for blocks (161) and still ranks among the top five players all-time in five statistical categories (kills, attack attempts, hitting percentage, total blocks, block assists). She was also honored for her classroom accomplishments in 2003, earning a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten Volleyball team and the CoSIDA University Division Academic All-District IV Volleyball second team.

For the past five seasons she has played professionally in Puerto Rico for Criollas de Caguas (2007-08, 2013), Corozal (2009) and Bayamon (2010-11). She also spent two seasons playing in Benidorm, Spain (2004-06).
