EASTON, PA -- The George Washington volleyball team won its third straight match with a 3-1 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson Saturday in the Lafayette College Tournament. GW won by the scores, 30-21, 15-30, 30-28 and 30-20 at Lafayette's Kirby Sports Center.

The Colonials won the match without the services of leading scorer Janine Brown who sustained an injury to her right kneecap during pre-game warm-ups. The extent of Brown's injury is not yet known. GW was led by Liz Moult's 21.5 points on 17 kills and 15 digs while freshman Leah Hill contributed her career-high 16 kills and 14 digs for 17 points.

Fairleigh Dickinson (4-3) was led by Lauren Boothby with 20 kills, 14 digs and four service aces.

GW (5-4) will try to extend its winning streak to four straight when it plays Maryland-Eastern Shore at 2 pm Saturday in day two of the Lafayette Invitational.
