Junior co-captain Sarah Hokom (Caldwell, ID/Caldwell) also added 23 kills, including three in the decisive fifth game with Vernand digging three attacks in game five as well.

The Rams, who have lost six matches to teams ranked in the Top 25 this season, fell to 6-13 overall, 2-4 in the A-10. GW will host the Rams on Nov. 16 in Washington.

GW (12-9, 3-3 A-10) plays the A-10's other Rams, Fordham, in a 2:00 p.m. matinee Sunday in New York.
