Volleyball Announces 2002 Team Awards

GW volleyball coach Jojit Coronel has announced the following team awards for the 2002 season:
Most Improved: Shannon Parks (A-10 All-Rookie Team)
Most Inspirational: Laura Harrison (5-11, Jr. Opposite)
Defensive Player of the Year: Ruth Lazzari (5-9, Jr., OH, 2001 and 2002 A-10 All-Conference First Team)
Offensive Player of the Year: Sarah Hokom (5-9, Jr., OH, 2002 A-10 A-10 All-Conference)
Rookie of the Year: Jessica Vesey (5-8, Fr. Libero)
Most Outstanding Player: Sarah Hokom (5-9, Jr., OH, 2002 A-10 A-10 All-Conference)
