GW Volleyball Invitational Canceled

Four-Team Tournament Canceled In Wake of Tragedy

Sept. 13, 2001

WASHINGTON, DC (Sept. 13) - The George Washington University has announced that the GW Invitational Volleyball Tournament, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14-15, has been canceled. Squads from American, Princeton and Villanova were scheduled to compete.

The Colonials' next match will take place Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Smith Center when they open Atlantic 10 Conference play against La Salle beginning at 7:00 p.m.
