WASHINGTON, DC -- The George Washington University Department of Athletics is proud to announce that GW's women's volleyball home matches can now be seen live via video streaming at www.GWsports.com anywhere in the world for a monthly subscription fee of $9.95 (or $79.95 for a yearly subscription that includes all GW's men's and women's basketball home games as well as several road games). The service begins Friday when GW hosts East Carolina in a match at 7 p.m. (EST). Saturday's matches vs. Hartford at 2 p.m. and against Howard at 7 p.m. also will be streamed live.
Fans can watch the video by clicking on the Watch link in the All Events box or click on the Audio Video link at the lower left corner of the website's main page and follow the instructions for "GW All-Access."
Subscribers will be able to view the matches live from an elevated camera position. Combined with the GameTracker live stats service, fans can not only watch the video but also have live up-to-the-minute score and statistical updates as well.
In order to enjoy "GW All-Access," the subscriber needs to be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0 on the following systems: Microsoft Windows XP Home / Professional SP2, Windows XP Media Center 2005, Windows 2000 SP4; Windows Media Player 9 or 10. Broadband connection and a processor of 1.2 Ghz or greater, and 1 gig of RAM is recommended.
For Mac users, the service is compatible with Safari 2 and Flip4Mac.
