Volleyball Renews #RevRivalry at George Mason on Friday

LEADING OFF: The GW volleyball team visits George Mason on Friday night for an Atlantic 10 conference match and the latest installment of the Revolutionary Rivalry. First serve from the Recreation Athletic Complex in Fairfax, Va., is 7:00 p.m.

RIVALRY RENEWED: GW has won all six matches under the Revolutionary Rivalry banner dating back to the 2013 season. The Colonials won both of last season's meetings to improve their all-time record over the Patriots to 39-8.

ONE AND DONE:Friday's match marks the only action of the weekend for both GW and George Mason. Each team enters with a 1-3 record in the Atlantic 10 and a common conference win over La Salle.

LAST TIME OUT:GW fell in straight sets at Howard on Tuesday night at Burr Gymnasium. Sophomore Skylar Iott and junior Kelsey Clark shared the team lead with 10 kills each.

FOUR WITH 100:Skylar Iott put down 10 kills in Tuesday's match at Howard to become the fourth Colonial this season to achieve 100. Clark continues to lead the Colonials with 148 kills while senior Aaliya Davidson is closed behind with 134. Senior Kristel Moor rounds out the quartet with 113 winners.

LOOK AHEAD: GW plays the final game of a seven-match road swing at American on Wednesday night before returning home for a conference weekend with matches against VCU and Davidson.
