Volleyball Defeats La Salle, 3-0

    All 14 Colonials Participate in Sweep
    WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 7) - GW senior Tracee Brown recorded a double-double with 18 kills and 13 digs in leading GW past visiting La Salle, 15-3, 15-9, 15-9, Tuesday night at GW's Smith Center. The three-time Atlantic 10 Player of the Week from Garnerville, NY, also added a pair of assists in the one-hour, 16-minute match.

    After GW won the first game decisively, head coach Jojit Coronel emptied his bench playing all 14 Colonials in the match. Freshman Laura Harrison (West Hills, CA/Calabasas) recorded her first kill as a collegian in two attacks for a .500 percentage.

    Trina Allen led the Explorers (12-20, 0-14 A-10) with eight kills while teammate Kelly Daniel added seven kills and a team-high 11 digs.

    GW (22-5, 13-2 A-10) closes out the regular season Saturday, Nov. 11 at home against Duquesne at 7:30 pm. It marks the final home match for six seniors: Renee Arnold, Tracee Brown, Adrianna Gucciardi, Julie Jahnke, Jill Levey and Suzana Manole.
