Volleyball's Hatter Named to A-10 All-Conference 2nd Team

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- GW senior Abigail Hatter was named to the 2005 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team Wednesday in voting by the league's coaches. The senior from nearby Manassas, VA led the Colonials in hitting percentage with a .344 efficiency.

Hatter led the A-10 with a .380 hitting percentage in conference matches on 120 kills, 36 errors in 221 attempts.

Hatter's stats for the season: 100 games, 213 kills, 71 errors, 413 attempts, .344 hitting percentage, 25 digs, 84 total blocks (13 solo, 71 assisted) and an six assists for 261.5 total points.

Hatter concluded her career with 499 kills, 36 block solos and 179 block assists in 287 games.

GW (14-15, 5-8 A-10) closed out the 2005 season by winning its final four matches and 12 of its final 14 games.
