GW Women's Water Polo Splits First Day of CWPA Championship

Colonials to Face Harvard or Connecticut College on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Led Colonials with 103 saves against 128 goals for a .450 save percentage...Also paced club's netminders in assists (4) and steals (31)...Recorded eight saves, two assists and four steals in the season-opening win over Mercyhurst (2/10)...Made a season-high 12 stops in the win over Bucknell at the Mercyhurst Invitational (2/18/17)...Posted nine stops in the win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (3/15/17) and eight more in the loss to Pomona-Pitzer later that day.

Recorded 126 saves while allowing 172 goals for a .423 save percentage and 12.29 goals-against average in 56 quarters in goal ... Her 126 saves were the fourth-most ever by a GW rookie, and her .423 save percentage ranked fifth among all-time Colonial freshmen ... Added one assist and 11 steals in the cage ... Made her collegiate debut against VMI and stopped five shots in two quarters of action (March 3) ... Also had a steal against the Keydets ...
