Feb. 13, 2011
PRINCETON, NJ - Junior Monica Hanson scored five goals and freshman Rachael Bentley added a hat trick as the George Washington women's water polo team picked up its first victory of 2011 with a 15-7 triumph over Villanova in the final game of the Princeton Invitational Sunday. GW trailed nationally ranked Pacific just 1-0 after a quarter, but the Tigers netted four unanswered goals en route to outscoring the Colonials, 8-2, in the second period to build a 9-2 halftime lead.
