COLLEGE PARK, MD - The George Washington women's water polo team (2-0) began its 2006 campaign this weekend with an 8-3 victory over CSU East Bay and a 9-4 win against Siena at the Terrapin Invitational hosted by Maryland at the Campus Recreation Center Natatorium.

Junior Morgan Hooker (Woodland Hills, CA/Harvard Westlake) carried the Colonials in both wins as she scored four goals in each of GW's victories. Junior Jenna Burnett (Lake Forest, CA/El Toro) tallied a goal against CSU East Bay and three scores against Siena.

The Colonials return to action this weekend at the Princeton Invitational when they face Brown Friday night, Harvard and Wagner on Saturday and Marist on Sunday.
