LEWISBURG, Pa. - The George Washington women's water polo team dropped its first game at the Bucknell Invitational, falling to No. 20 Wagner, 15-8, on Friday evening at Kinney Natatorium.
Seniors Katherine Berry, Rachael Bentley and Allison Littlejohn tallied two goals apiece, while senior Megan Brolley and sophomore Hannah Cox each had one to account for all of the Colonials' scoring in the game.
GW (2-3) jumped out to a 3-0 lead 55 seconds into the second quarter behind goals from Cox, Brolley and Berry, but the Seahawks scored four in a row to go up 4-3 with 2:09 remaining in the period.
