LOS ANGELES, CA - Freshman Allison Peotter scored a career-high eight points on five goals and three assists and junior Marissa Stamler added a hat trick, but the George Washington women's water polo team lost a high-scoring affair, 15-13, to CWPA Division III No. 2 Occidental Thursday.

Sophomore goalkeeper Charlotte Schou was solid with 14 saves for GW (3-13), which surrendered a 6-2 second-quarter run to the Tigers to trail 10-6 at halftime and couldn't rally in the second half.

Seniors Amy Moren and Luciana Maggiolo, juniors Emily Chereson and Sarah Fitch and sophomore Melissa Sesana also added goals for the Colonials.

GW visits Concordia (CA) at 12:30 pm PT Friday before taking on host California Baptist in its first game of the Lancer Invitational at 6:00 pm PT.
