COLLEGE PARK, MD - The George Washington women's water polo team completed play in the CWPA Southern Division with a 15-11 loss to Harvard and 12-10 defeat to Brown at Maryland's Eppley Natatorium Saturday.

The two losses send GW to 6-16 overall and 0-4 in the Southern Division. The Colonials finish their home schedule and celebrate Senior Day on Sunday against No. 13 Indiana at Charles E. Smith Center Pool. That game will be streamed live on GW All-Access and fans are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item at the game to support the Ronald McDonald House of Northeast DC.

The GW attack came to life against Harvard less than 24 hours after a 5-for-27 effort in a loss to Maryland. However, the Colonials were unable to outgun the Crimson in a high-scoring fourth quarter. Trailing 8-6 through three periods, GW tallied five goals over the final eight minutes, but Harvard exploded for seven goals and widened the margin to the 15-11 final.

Juniors Allison Peotter, Megan Walker and Monica Hanson and freshman Rachael Bentley netted two goals apiece, with rookies Allison Littlejohn, Kayley Marshall and Megan Brolley also tallying goals. Senior goalkeeper Charlotte Schou, who became GW's career saves leader on Friday, made 11 blocks.

The Colonials ran into foul trouble in Saturday's nightcap against Brown as three starters fouled out in the third quarter. GW hung close after falling behind 3-0 early in the first quarter, but Berry, Bentley and Walker were all rolled in the third quarter and the Colonials couldn't complete the comeback.

Berry finished with a team-high four goals despite fouling out, followed by two goals apiece from Peotter and rookie Adina Zepfel. Brolley and Hanson also scored goals and Schou posted 10 saves and three steals in the loss.
