Women's Water Polo Receives At-Large Bid to Eastern College Conference

March 26, 2001

WASHINGTON, DC - In an announcement today by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA), George Washington University women's water polo received an at-large bid to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships.

The ECAC Championship is scheduled to take place this upcoming weekend, March 31-April 1, in Princeton, NJ. The No. 6 seeded Colonials will face the No. 2 seed Brown University on Saturday, March 31, at 11:30 am and the No. 3 seed Hartwick College at 4:00 pm. The Colonials schedule for Sunday, April 1, will be determined following the result of Saturday's matches.
