WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's water polo team will face three ranked opponents in four games this weekend at the annual Bucknell Invitational at the Bison's Kinney Natatorium. The Colonials will face No. 20 (tied) Wagner on Friday, No. 20 (tied) Hartwick and Marist on Saturday and No. 13 UC San Diego on Sunday.

GW vs. #13 UC San Diego - 8 a.m.

GW (2-2) went 1-2 at last weekend's Princeton Invitational with a 14-7 victory over VMI. Senior Megan Brolley matched her career high with six goals, equaling the fifth-highest single-game total in program history.

Brolley leads the Colonials with nine goals on the young season, while senior Rachael Bentley is tops with eight assists and 16 points, adding to her all-time program records in both categories.

Wagner (3-4) is coming off a 2-1 showing at the Princeton Invite with wins over GW and Harvard, and Jess Lundgren was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week for her performance at the tournament, where she tallied nine goals and 13 assists. The Colonials will look to get their first win over the Seahawks since 2004.

Hartwick is 4-5 following a 2-2 weekend at the UC San Diego Triton Invite. Four of the Hawks' five losses have come to ranked opponents. Jemma Dendy Young is Hartwick's leading scorer with 10 goals and 12 points on the season. GW is in search of its first-ever win over the Hawks.

Marist (3-5) went 1-3 at last weekend's UCSD Triton Invite, with its lone win coming against Cal State East Bay. Amanda Amarosa was named MAAC Rookie of the Week and leads the Red Foxes with 14 goals this season. The Colonials will seek their first win over Marist since 2005.

UC San Diego (6-2) is coming off a 2-2 performance at its own Triton Invite with losses to No. 11 Loyola Marymount and No. 12 Long Beach State. The Tritons own wins over three top-20 teams this season, including No. 5 Arizona State. Sarah Lizotte leads UCSD with 22 goals and seven assists on the year. Sunday's contest will be the first-ever meeting between the Colonials and Tritons.
