Senior Megan Brolley, who was named CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week on Tuesday, led GW to a 3-1 weekend at the Claremont Convergence in Southern California with nine goals, six assists and nine steals. Brolley opened the weekend with three goals, four steals and two ejections drawn in GW's 10-5 win over Occidental on Friday, winning all four sprints against the seventh-ranked team in Division III. The native of Delray Beach, Fla., followed with two goals in a 13-7 win over Division III No. 4 Chapman later that day. On Saturday, Brolley tallied four points on two goals and two assists to go with two steals against Azusa Pacific, but her most important contribution came when she won the swimoff to start the sudden death overtime period, as GW won the game 15 seconds later.
