LAST TIME OUT: After opening CWPA play with a 9-7 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) back on March 10, GW got back into the league schedule last week with defeats to first-place Michigan and Bucknell to put its conference record at 1-2.
STRONG START: GW started the season strong, getting out to a 12-3 record including a six-match winning streak from March 10-15. That included a 4-0 record in the GW Invitational at the Smith Center, and two wins in the first leg of a eight-game road trip to California.
JUNIOR JOLT: A pair of juniors continue to lead the Colonials in goals and points, as Scarlett Hallahan has 51 goals and 37 assists, while classmate Jacqueline Bywater has 38 goals and 21 assists. Bywater also leads the team with 76 steals.
LOOK AHEAD: GW closes the regular season with a non-conference match at Villanova on April 13 and a league game at Princeton on the 14th. The CWPA Championship is set to be held April 28-30 at Indiana University.
