WASHINGTON, DC - Allison Peotter was named the women's water polo team's Most Valuable Player at George Washington University's annual Senior Honors Luncheon on the GW campus Thursday.

Allison was named to the CWPA Southern Division First Team for the third time in as many seasons, becoming the only GW player to receive the honor three times. The Newport Beach, CA, native earned a league-leading four CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week awards this season while pacing GW in goals, assists, points, steals and swim-offs won. Only a junior, Allison already tops GW's career lists in assists, steals and swim-offs won, and is on pace to become the program's leader in goals and points in 2012.
